Product rankings
How we rank products (decision engine)
Last updated: April 4, 2026
What the rubric measures
Product pages compress many lanes into one headline total plus pros, cons, and alternatives. The same signals power compare battles and category best lists so winners and tradeoffs stay aligned.
- Formula & actives - salt choices, doses vs. common study ranges, obvious weak forms where they matter.
- Label quality - disclosure clarity, excipient load, transparency cues we can verify from structured data.
- Value - per-serving price vs. score where we have fresh currency-aligned prices.
- Safety - conservative editorial gates; not a personal risk assessment.
- Trust & verification - catalog coverage, third-party testing flags, data freshness.
Category awareness
Category priors adjust how we emphasize value, cleanliness, or performance - without inventing new numbers per page. You still see the same headline score on the product, in compare, and on best lists for that SKU.
Where you see it
- Compare - lane-by-lane winners plus a plain-language battle summary.
- Alternatives - same-price upgrades, cheaper acceptable picks, and premium steps with score deltas.
- Best lists - overall, value, cheapest acceptable, and upgrade rows with explicit tradeoffs.
Not medical advice
Everything here evaluates products and labels for shoppers. It does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe. Read real labels and talk to a clinician for personal decisions.
